The centre now comprises of single level prime retail, air-conditioned space, within a generously proportioned, naturally lit, closed structure. Newcastle Mall offers the market a stable and increasingly affluent safe and convenient shopping destination, with abundant parking set in an open tray format.

The centre now accommodates 96 stores, anchored by Checkers, Pick n Pay, Game, Edgars, and Woolworths. South Africa’s top retail stores, restaurants, and banking institutions are all well represented, alongside a host of local offerings and a sprinkling of international brands.
The centre boasts an extensive range of specialised stores: Creature comforts in abundance from SA’s leading homeware stores including Boardmans, @ Home, Mr Price Home, Sheet Street, and Woolworths; Sporting gear for fitness fanatics at The Scene, Tekkie Town, Mr Price Sport, Totalsports, and Trappers Trading; High tech toys from Kodak, MTN, Vodacom 4 U, and Incredible Connection; Funky fashions from Old Khaki, Legit, Exact, Foschini, Mr Price, and Identity; and accessories to die for at American Swiss, NWJ, Rage, Torga Optical, Ashley Jane Accessories, and Rage.
